Five Bloemfontein Garden Centre Association members will launch a four-week early spring promotion from July 15 to August 15, 2010.

Among the products selected for this charity promotion are pruning kits, gloves, rose food, seed and plants such as buxus, viburnum, conifers, Cape reed and ophiopogon. The donation to charity varies between R1 and R2 per sale.

Participating ‘Beds of Hope’ SANA members are:

• SUPPLIERS: Efekto, Elands Nursery, Erlima, Malanseuns, MIT Distributors and Starke Ayres.
• RETAILERS: Bruwer Kwekery; Roses for U; Plants @ Preller; Greenside Kwekery and Pretty Gardens.

The ‘Beds of Hope’ campaign raises funds for babies and children in two hospitals, namely the Universitas and Pelonomi Hospitals in Bloemfontein. Funds are needed to update, repair or replace antiquated technology for both patient care and tertiary training.
