The winners of the 2010 Garden Centre Competition have been announced

Plant Paradise Garden Centre in Moreletapark, Pretoria is the winner of the Garden Centre of the Year award, whilst the top Home Store of the Year is Builders Warehouse Port Elizabeth The winners of this Garden Centre Competition, held under the auspices of the Garden Centre Association (GCA), were announced at a glittering ceremony at the Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg in May.
Not only did Plant Paradise Garden Centre receive top honours, it was also named Best Medium Nursery and was also the regional winner for Gauteng North. Other accolades for this garden centre included Best General Displays, Best Indoor Plant Department and Best Outdoor Plant Department.
Pretty Gardens Tuinsentrum in Bloemfontein was named the Best Large Nursery and was also the regional winner for Free State, at the same time walking off with the award for Best Staff. Clarks Garden Pavilion in Lichtenburg was named Best Small Nursery and also the regional winner for North West.
Other regional winners were Flora Farm in Boksburg for Gauteng South and Stodels Bellville for Western Cape. Stodels Bellville also received the award for Best Garden Care Department.
